Paid and Sick Leave Proactive Problem Resolution Agreement Form

Paid leave and sick leave are two of the biggest sources of problems between JETs and their contracting organisations. In order to resolve some of the major issues that make these forms of leave a problem, you can fill in this agreement template with your supervisor in order to greatly reduce the chance of misunderstandings and conflict when you want to take leave. It only takes 10 minutes to fill out, is in Japanese and English, and will potentially save a whole lot of time and grief later on. Well, what are you waiting for? (made by the Okinawa PAs)

Eating in Japanese

Eating in Japanese is a guide produced by the Diana Kimmel (Okinawa City ALT) in English and Japanese. The guide is structured as a series of tables, sorted according to food groupings, with the English and equivilent Japanese (in romaji, hiragana and kanji) all nicely layed out so that they can be printed onto card, cut out and slid into your pocket when you want to go out eating. The guide is in Microsoft Word format.
