| There are two airports in Niigata Prefecture (excluding any privately owned ones): Niigata Airport and Sado Airport. Sado Airport is not currently in operation, though establishing flights between Sado and Haneda is currently being negotiated. Niigata Airport Niigata Airport has regularly established flights to many locations both in Japan and East Asia. Domestic flights are available to Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Okinawa. International flights go to Guam, South Korea, China, and Russia. Immigration Bureau For all your passport and visa issues, as well as to get a re-entry permit, you will need to visit an Immigration Bureau.
